I am saddened to here of her passing. I used to work for Dr Jernigan and he and Mrs Jernigan helped me as I was grieving for my own father at that time. Later I worked in Center and Mrs Jernigan and I would talk for hours about the town. She was a good friend to my mother, too. The two were in the Dental Wives Association together and I admired how she could pick up a conversation with her like there was no time between them even if it had been ages since they talked. That East Texas classy lady will stay in my heart forever.

My deepest condolences to everyone, working with Dr. J and Sue for many years they served as a true Father and Mother figure in my life…I know she will be truly missed. After their retirement I never found a true home and family work place. My family is saddened.

  4. Mrs Jernigan was a perfect example of a lady in every way. When my late husband was killed in the middle of doing a remodel on their home, she was so kind and so comforting to me. I will never forget her. She always had a great smile and a loving attitude. I know she will be missed.

  5. So sorry for your loss. I so enjoyed every time I had a chance to see and visit with your Mom. Special, special lady. God's Peace to the family.

My deepest condolences, your Mother was a one of a kind, she was the sweetest lady, always had a beautiful smile. I loved seeing her come in the beauty shop, we would have a little chat, just about the family how everyone was doing.
I know she will be missed by all.

  10. I came across this late but recognized the smile from years ago. So sorry for your loss. I know I speak for my entire family as we think back to what a great family your mom and dad built! Our families connected on several levels over the years through the kids. I’ll let the rest of the clan know of her passing and we will all look back fondly.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I had no idea Sue had passed away or I would have come to the service. She always made me feel so welcome in your home and I can't imagine what a difficult time this is for all of you. I hope you know you are all surrounded by the love and prayers of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
