Judy Bounds Hunter

May 3, 1969 – August 3, 2022

Judy Bounds Hunter, 53 of Friendswood, Texas was called to the arms of our Lord and Savior early on the morning of August 3, 2022, with her loving husband by her side.

Judy was born on May 3, 1969 in Jackson, Mississippi to the late Robert and Patricia (Nix) Bounds.  She was a retired Nurse who had a passion for treating pediatric patients.  Judy was known for her great smile, warm personality, and her loving heart.  She was dedicated to her spiritual walk with God, a loving wife, devoted mother, and a wonderful sister.  She served with a “Servants Heart” to all those who came in contact with her.

Survivors include her husband Roy Hunter, Daughter Shelby Hunter, Son Ian Hunter, Brother Robert Bounds Jr. and Tess Campbell, Sisters Teresa (Bounds) Borne,  Shelli Bounds and Ryan Coats. Numerous nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Shadycrest Baptist Church on Saturday, August 13, 2022 at 11:00 AM. Located at 3017 Yost Blvd Pearland, Texas 77581 Pastor Brian Jensen officiating.

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.
