January 22, 1952 – October 13, 2021
David Wayne Jones, 69, of Pearland, Texas passed into the arms of his Lord and Savior on October 13, 2021, after a prolonged illness, in the presence of his beloved wife, Patsy.
David is survived by his wife, Patsy Edwards Jones; children; Jennifer, Jocelyn, Joshua, Jordanna and Julianne, and grandchildren Sam and Ella; brothers, Randall, Bryant and Christian; and sisters, Cheryl and Kathy; along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Lora Swinney of Livingston, Louisiana; father, Billy Jack Jones of Bonita Springs, Florida; brothers, Philip, Trent, Larry, Gary and Michael.
David proudly served in the U.S. Army. He deeply loved his family and his country. He loved playing golf and loved being a friend to everyone he met. He could put anyone at ease and loved telling humorous stories. David’s easy-going charm, sense of humor and deep loyalty will be greatly missed!
