  1. I came to know Bob about 1965. He was a friend and cohort during our years at NASA. He was a down to earth fellow who constantly amazed me with his dry sense of humor. I will miss you Bob. My God bless his lovely family . Chuck Howard/NASA retired

  2. Bob was a good friend. Especially knew him when he was VP of Athletics and working with the EAA.

We so appreciated talking with Bob about space any chance we got. Marley (their rental dog : ) adored him and all the walks they went on together – they gave her a 2nd home. We miss him dearly – he was not just a neighbor, but truly a friend, too.
