November 23, 1962 – July 18, 2020
My beautiful mother, Robin Anne Galan, peacefully passed away July 18th, 2020. Born in Houston Texas in, she passed away at only 57 years old at home surrounded by those who love her. My mother was one of the kindest and most fun loving people to grace this earth. She would gladly give anyone the shirt off of her back even if it were her last. She was the absolute best mother, easily the most phenomenal grandmother, a true friend and fierce animal advocate. Her kindness extended to every person and animal she came across. She was as hard working as she was kind, she raised my sister and I alone but even through the tough times we never felt anything but love. She not only worked hard to take care of my sister and myself but also worked hard as a church youth group sponsor and a Girl Scout Leader.
My mom was able to travel the world some and really experience life and what it has to offer. In her later years, she was able to touch the lives of countless animals and helped as many as she could with many different animal rescues. She was a lover of cooking, all outdoor activities, music, and took every opportunity to dance. She lived her life fearlessly and filled with adventure. The world is less than without her here, but the spectacular mark she left will remain forever.
Robin was preceded in death by her parents, Woodrow Jr. and Fanny Woodall and her grandson, Noah.
She is survived by her two daughters, Sasha Galan and Tina Galan; brother, Woodrow (Buck) Woodall, III; sister, Kathryne F. Croker; two grandchildren, Hunter and Amiyah; many family members and friends.
Condolences may be sent to the Galan family in care of Jeter Memorial Funeral Home at www.jeterfuneralhome.com.
