In Loving Memory

Mary Clara (Epps) Baker

October 21, 1932 – May 27, 2021

Mary Clara Baker, 88, a longtime resident of Friendswood, TX passed away on Thursday, May 27, 2021.

Mary was a great nurturer who loved her family. The love and servant heart she had grew beyond her family to all she came in contact with.

She will be remembered for the joy she spread to others which was fueled by her relationship with Jesus.

Her grandchildren and great grandchildren could always count on her childlike spirit to connect with them in a playful way.  She was an active member of Bayshore Friends Church in Baycliff, TX and did a great deal of volunteer work within her community.

She is survived by her four children Karen Baker Jantz, Sherri Baker Lewis and husband Robert, Cindy Baker Brown, Gary Baker and wife Kelly, 15 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, 1 brother and 2 sisters.

  6. The Alan Epps Family will always cherish our visit to see Aunt Mary and Uncle Felton. Tours of Galveston, helicopter rides and the biggest Texas-Style steaks on the grill we have ever experienced. Aunt Mary was recovering from a foot issue and our pre-teen boys had more fun racing around with her in her wheel chair as she whooped, hollered and belly laughed. God Bless you Aunt Mary, Uncle Felton and family. Ellen & Alan, Matthew, Shaun (Meghan-Henry & Liam) and Greg (Karen & Emily- Wayne, PA.
