In Loving Memory

Justin Mitchell Rex

3/22/1999 – 3/11/2020

Justin Mitchell Rex, 20, of Friendswood, TX also known as Jdog, and Coconito, passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2020. He was born on March 22, 1999 in Pasadena, TX to parents Roy and Karina (Espinoza) Rex. He grew up with his sister, Natalie and even though they fought, he would protect his little sister if anyone messed with her. He was a happy kid that lived on the edge. Justin always wanted big hugs and always said I love you. His presence would make people laugh and smile, he had such a goofy personality.

Justin loved to go four wheeling and tube riding as a young boy while playing his favorite music. He loved to hang out with his friends any chance he could get.

He graduated from Friendswood High School and worked for his dad where he planned to take over the business one day. He dedicated most of his time on his loving girlfriend, Ashlyn and baby Elijah, that is due to be born in June.

Everyone that met him was impacted by his smile, because it was contagious. He had a charming and charismatic personality.

Justin left us way too soon, but left his legacy with Baby Rex. He will be missed dearly, but we know he is an Angel watching over us and that our Heavenly Father welcomed him with open arms.

Justin is survived by his father, Roy Rex; mother, Karina White; stepdad Denny White; stepmom Adine Barber; sister, Natalie Rex and 3 half-sisters, Danika Rex, McKenzie Rex, and Katelynn White; his girlfriend, Ashlyn Moore and their unborn son Elijah; and a multitude of grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and cherished friends.

Friends are cordially invited to attend a visitation with the family on Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at 1:30 P.M. with the funeral service to begin at 2:30 P.M. at Jeter Memorial Funeral Home, 311 N. Friendswood Dr., Friendswood, Texas 77546 (281) 992-7200 with Pastor Mike Cervantes officiating. Interment will follow at South Park Cemetery in Pearland, TX.

Pallbearers will include, Jorge Luis Gonzalez, Cristian Ivan Gonzalez, Joseph Ethan Martinez, Jose Hernandez, III, Chandler Myron Killian and Travis Reid Schlicht.

Although Justin and Ashlyn was with us in San Antonio for about 6 months. The love he radiates for everyone was felt. I felt so blessed to have them both and to see the love between them and to feel the love for us. He was a goofy loving young man and he will be dearly missed. I pray that God will surround you and your family with continual love and support.
