October 18, 1995 – August 11, 2020

Jaymeson "Jaymo" Tanner Haley, also called "Mo" by close friends and family, 24, passed away on Monday, August 11, 2020 in Friendswood, TX.

Jaymo was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on October 18,1995. He is survived by his father and mother, James Haley and Kayne Schafroth, as well as his sisters, Ainsley and Laynie Haley. Jaymo was deeply loved by his family members, including his step-mother Renee, and step-sister Kelly. Jaymo was preceded in death by his beloved Dog, Boots.

Jaymo served in the Louisiana Army National Guard from 2014 to 2019 and earned his B.S. in Marketing at Louisiana Tech University. Jaymo was known for his genuine heart, giving nature, and witty humor. Jaymo had a love for life, and other people, living every day to the fullest. Jaymo was quiet and laid back but was also the life of the party. He loved spending time with family, friends, dogs, and being outdoors.

Everyone who knew Jaymo loved him dearly and will miss him immensely. Jaymo would want those who knew him to celebrate and relish life, just as he did.

Friends are cordially invited to the visitation with the family on Tuesday, August 18, 2020 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the Jeter Memorial Funeral Home, 311 N. Friendswood Dr., Friendswood, TX 77546 (281) 992-7200.

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at 10:00 A.M. at the Friendswood United Methodist Church, 110 N. Friendswood Dr., Friendswood, TX 775446 with Rev. Jim Bass officiating.

    Oh wow, Ainsley (and family)…I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of you beloved brother. I could see through posts how close you and your siblings were. I know this is a very hard and trying time, and I will keep you and the rest of your family lifted up in prayer. Prayers for peace and love to wrap you all in as you deal with the emotions that or so hard to handle right now.

    1. I served with Haley and he was the first soldier I had the privilege of meeting when I got to my unit. He welcomed me, showed me around and helped get me squared away. Every time I saw him he found a way to make me laugh. I'm so sorry to hear of his passing. God bless y'all for this loss and know we're praying for you.
