  2. I'm lost for words, my heart is broken like never before. My body is numb. I still can't believe I will never hear you say, " goodbye Jessica. Come see us no more!" My reply would always be, " ok papi I'll see y'all tomorrow." I've seen him almost everyday for the last 12 + years," I'm so humble to say he was my dad for the last 24 years. I have a lot of regrets in my life but when it comes to Eloy I can honestly say I don't have one regret! Not one! He has shown my family and me how to love the right way. He has instilled so many great life learning lessons. Not only did he talk the talk, but he walked the walk. My dad was the only man I ever came across that was
real and genuine. He loved me as if I was his biological child and my children as his grandchildren. My three children were blessed to call him grandpa. He was 4 grandpas in one body. He was all they needed, and loved them as such. The way he loved my mom, took care of her, and showed his love daily towards her. We were a crazy family, but he made us perfect. He picked up all the brokenness we had endured and put each piece back together, one at a time, until we were a complete whole family again. He never once raised his voice, but he never had too either. We all respected him to the fullest. Eloy, I'm so sad that you had to go, but I smile because you got to meet our maker. I love you… so grateful for the opportunity to have one last talk… one last lesson….. one last tear together…. One last chuckle together….. so grateful to hear you tell me, " I love you too," one last time. I'm so blessed to have had the time with you that I did. You will live on through my children because you left them so much guidance to take them through each hurdles that come their way. You were one amazing man. Fly high papi… until we meet again… RIP Eloy F. Perez
