Byron L. Williams

July 2, 1959 – July 13, 2021

Byron Lee Williams, 62, of Pearland, Texas passed away Tuesday, July 13, 2021.  He was born July 2,1959, to Arlie Williams and Nora Williams in Houston Texas. 

Byron’s loyalty as a person was strong and known by his family and friends.  The people that he loved knew it and knew he would do whatever needed to be done to make sure that they were taken care of.  His loyalty was shown in his over 30 years at Shell Oil and the number of true friendships that he gained from it as well as his many years of service as a Volunteer Firefighter. He enjoyed many different hobbies throughout his life hunting, riding Harley Davidsons and most of all spending time with his children and grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his wife Melissa Jo Owens Williams, father Arlie Williams and mother Nora Williams.

Byron is survived by his daughter Paige Dishman, her husband Brent and his grandchildren Trey, Erin, Emery, Camryn and Collins of Austin, Texas; stepson Jaron Pollard, wife Britney and grandchildren Aiden, Kevin Lane, Tenley and Karson of Hutto, Texas; sister Leesa Schrader and husband William; and many other relatives and cherished friends. 

Friends are cordially invited to the visitation with the family on Tuesday, July 20, 2021, at 10:00 A.M. with the funeral service immediately following at 11:00 A.M. at the Jeter Memorial Funeral Home, 311 N. Friendswood Dr., Friendswood, Texas 77546 (281) 992-7200 with Rev. Reggie Clemons officiating.  Interment will follow at SouthPark Cemetery in Pearland, Texas.

  1. I had a pleasure meeting and knowing Mr Byron throughout my 10 years working at East Side Refinery SDPR, we had many of laughs together he was always good to me. Condolences to his family may he RIP .

  2. Byron was a man of his word. When he said he'd take care of something he would. He also wasn't afraid to push back when he thought something could be done better. He was a friend to all, and a confidant to many. May he rest in peace and may God comfort his family.
