In Loving Memory

Brian Dwain Gibson

June 10, 1981 – November 30, 2020

Our beloved son Brian Gibson, age 39, passed away November 30, 2020 at Clear Lake Hospital in Webster, Texas. Brian was born in Webster, Texas on June 10, 1981.

Brian graduated from Friendswood High School in 1999 and graduated from the University of Houston in 2007 with a Bachelors of Business Administration Management, Cum Laude.  After graduation he started his career with Farmers Insurance. Brian's most recent position was being a Guaranteed Repair Program Field Consultant.  He loved his job because classic cars and trucks were his passion. Brian also liked to fish, ride off road 4×4's, and his new golf cart. The Galveston Bay Area was his favorite place to spend his time in his new San Leon home.

Brian was predeceased by his grandmother, Margaret Moore, his grandfather, Jack Roberts and his beloved dog Sampson.  He is survived by his loving parents Gary and Trina Gibson, sister and brother-in-law, Laurie and Jake Decker, nephew and niece, Carson and Reese Decker, grandmother Emily Roberts, uncle Steve Roberts, aunt and uncle Debbie and Jim McCarthy, cousins Jerod and wife Erin and Justin McCarthy, great uncles Don and Roy Moore and Meade Roberts, and numerous friends.

Brian will be very deeply missed by all his friends and family who adored him so much.

A graveside service will be held at a later date.

  11. My condolenses to Trina, Gary & Family. I started my Farmers Insurance career alongside Brian. We were in the same onboarding class and spent the first 3 months training together. He was the most knowledgable trainee in the group, with the best attitude. He always came in smiling and very upbeat. He was very well liked and respected at work. His passion for work was always evident. Brian will be missed.

  12. Dear Gibson Family, I was shocked and saddened to hear of Brian's tragic passing. I met Brian many years ago when he interviewed for, and was selected for, the GRP Consultant job. I knew when I met him that day he was a special guy and was full of enthusiasm and passion for his job. He was one of the good guys, and the world is a lesser place without him in it. Brian, if they have MiFi devices in Heaven, you can let that thing run for as long as you want to! (Brian will know what this means) I hope all the good memories of his 39 years provide you comfort and solace during this difficult time. Knowing Brian, I'm sure there are many to remember and smile about. Rest In Peace, Brian. We miss you.
