Bobbie Grace (Biles) Jones

April 27, 1943 – September 17, 2020

Bobbie Grace Jones, 77, of Friendswood, passed away at home peacefully in the morning hours on September 17, 2020, with her husband John by her side. Bobbie was born on April 27, 1943 in Minden, Louisiana. She was preceded in death by her parents Bobbie and Virginia Biles.

Bobbie earned a degree from Louisiana Tech University. She worked many years retail sales, and within the health care medical billing field. She loved helping others navigate the complicated medical bill process.

Bobbie believed that service to others was important. She received the American Business Women's of the Year Award. Bobbie was a founding member of the Forest Bend Volunteer Fire Department Women's Auxiliary, and a member of the Forest Bend Homeowners Association.

Bobbie loved the game of bridge. She was an active member of the Pasadena and Clear Bridge Clubs. Bobbie loved traveling and playing with friends where-ever the game took her. She was very honored to be awarded the prestigious American Contract Bridge League Life Master.

Her favorite times were spent with her grandchildren. She loved going on their many adventures and laughing with them.

Bobbie will be greatly missed by her daughter Sherry White and her husband David, her son Eric Jones and his wife Amy and her grandchildren Laura White and Ryan Jones.

The family is planning a private graveside ceremony on Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at Forest Park East Cemetery in Webster, with Chaplain Daniel Schramm officiating.
