Louis Mutina, Jr., 68, of Pearland, passed away on Saturday, January 20, 2018. Louis was born on July 23, 1949 in Rosenberg, TX to parents Louis and Olga (Jez) Mutina. Louis is survived by his wife Shirley, son Shane and his wife Rachel, and precious three granddaughters that where his pride and joy, Maddie, Ashy, and Emma; brothers and spouses, Johnny & Earl, Rickey and Suzan and son Little Rickey, Suzie and Tony and children Lauren and Jake, Jay and Marla, and David; Shirley’s siblings and spouses, Skip and Carol with son Rob and children Steven, David, Nick, Meagan; son, Rusty and wife Alysia with grandchildren Loch and Lilly; sister, Barbara and Dwight, son and wife Chris and Geneva. And finally beloved Mother-in-law, Dale Key.
Louis Mutina served his country for 32 years in the Air Force as part the Texas Air National Guard. Louis enjoyed his retirement the most getting to spend time and working to help his granddaughters with the livestock and poultry projects.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to the 2018 McLennan County Sale of Champions. Louis was passionate about raising livestock and loved everything it taught young people. For the past 3 years he has been a contributor to the auction. He loved giving kids the chance to be a part of the great organization. Donations can be made to link below:

Friends are cordially invited to attend a visitation with the family at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, January 26, 2018 at Jeter Memorial Funeral Home, 311 N. Friendswood Dr., Friendswood, TX 77546, (281) 992-7200, with the funeral service following at 4:00 P.M., with family friend Hunter Morgan officiating.
Interment will be at 12:00 P.M. on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at Meier Settlement Cemetery, 150 Meier Settlement, Riesel, TX 76682.
