Billy Lloyd Adams

In Loving Memory

Billy Lloyd Adams

6/23/1963 - 11/25/2017

Billy Lloyd Adams, age 54, of Friendswood, TX, passed away on Saturday November 25, 2017. He was born June 23rd to Doris and Bill in 1963. He grew up in Manvel, TX. He graduated from Alvin High School.

He married his wife Dianne on July 31st 1998, and became father to her two sons Aaron and Brandon. He is survived by his wife Dianne, two sons Aaron and Brandon, daughter-in-law Danielle, and two grandsons Luke and Jake. He is also survived by his mother Doris, stepfather Daniel, brother Matt and his wife Susan, and three nephews Matthew, Kevin, and Bobby.

Lloyd was a strong man who took pride in his family. He was a devoted husband, a loving father, and an inspiring grandfather. As a husband to Dianne, he was an amazing support to her, loving her through thick and thin. Some of their favorite memories stem from long rides on their Harley, hunting in east Texas, and trips with the travel trailer to Fredericksburg and Bandera.

As a father, he taught his two boys the importance of being a man. He brought the boys up on a solid foundation of having a love for nature. Both boys learned how to hunt, fish, and somewhat fix cars all during his time with them. Never once did he treat them as stepsons, rather he treated them like his own flesh and blood.

Although there were not many years spent with the grandkids, during their time together he welcomed them into his home with open arms and loved them just the same.

Lloyd worked at Coca-Cola for 25 years. During his time working for Coca-Cola, he touched the lives of many co-workers, inspiring them to become better in all facets of their lives. Overall, Lloyd was a strong leader who took pride in his work. He was respected and adored by everyone he worked with.

Friends are cordially invited to attend a visitation with the family on Thursday, November 30, 2017 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Jeter Memorial Funeral Home, 311 N. Friendswood Dr., Friendswood, TX 77546, (281) 992-7200.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, December 1, 2017 at Jeter Memorial Funeral Home with Rev.  Dwayne Mills officiating.  Interment will follow at San Jacinto Memorial Park Cemetery led by a motorcycle honor guard of friends and family.

Pallbearers will be Aaron Adams, Brandon Dawson, Matt Adams, Steve Mills, Bruce Chumley, and Lanton Chumley.

Dear Dianne, I am so sorry to hear about Lloyd’s passing. I worked at Angleton Coca-Cola several years during the time Lloyd was there. We were on the safety committee, and he helped make it a success. I also enjoyed hearing about where you and he would go on the Harley trips, as well as how the boys baseball teams were doing. Lloyd’s genuine friendliness, willingness to help, and strong work ethic were all a part of what made him so respected in my eyes, also. Please accept my condolences to you and the entire family. I know he is greatly missed.

We are still in shock and heartbroken over your passing. I have so many fond memories from when we were teenagers and also from when I lived in Texas. You were always there for me when I needed you then and only wish we could have seen each other more often as we grew older. That smile of yours was infectious, I will always remember that about you. Prayers to Dianne, Aunt Doris, Matt and your entire family! They will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers in these difficult days ahead. You were a good man and a great cousin, you will be missed. Until we meet again one day......
