Ruth was a dear friend and sister in Christ to all of us. One of our fondest memories is we three Kent girls going on Lay Renewal weekends with Bill and Ruth to a number of Baptist Churches across Texas and one in Colorado. Then Anita and Becky went with them to Hawaii which was the last Lay Renewal they all did together. Another treasured memory is all of us going to Christian Women Club Conferences with Margaret Chapman, Margaret Noonan and Jean Smith. The four of them are together celebrating in their new home in heaven today. Ruth had a special gift in ministry of cooking meals and deserts for many of her friends in times of need. She was also a great pray warrior and regularly attended monthly prayer breakfast in Friendswood. What a great legacy she leaves behind. We will truly miss her smiling face and gain comfort knowing that she is no longer suffering and in the arms of our Lord Jesus Christ. Mary, Becky, Anita, Bernie

The death of Ruth Ruble is our sad loss but heaven's gain. Ruth was one of the most remarkable women I have ever known and I was proud to be able to call her my friend. Rest in peace sweet lady.
