Florencio Alexander Bernardo IV, 23, known to family and friends as Alex, passed away on Sunday, August 20, 2017. Alex was born September 15, 1993 in Nassau Bay, Texas, the beloved son of Gigi (Bernardo) Rowbottom. He attended Clear Creek schools and graduated from Clear Springs High School in 2012. He was enrolled at RC Health Services studying to become an EMT.
Alex was known as an easy-going guy. He was an avid video gamer, a lover of dogs, and a connoisseur of food. He also enjoyed working out and keeping fit. His memorable laugh, sweet smile, and distinguishable voice will be greatly missed.
Alex is survived by his parents, Gigi and Allen Rowbottom of League City, Texas; younger sister, Victoria; maternal grandparents, Florencio and Virginia Bernardo of Friendswood, Texas; paternal grandmother, Nancy Rowbottom of St. Louis, Missouri; aunt, Anne Bernardo of Friendswood; aunt and uncle, Mae and Denish Belvis and their children Allie and Joseph of League City, Texas; uncle and aunt Russ and Cindy Rowbottom, and their children Ryan, Brandon, Alyssa and Allie; aunt and uncle, Rachelle and Dan Meyer, and their children Danny and Nicole; uncle and aunt, Aaron and Donna Rowbottom, and their children Lauren and Carson all from St. Louis, Missouri.
Friends are cordially invited to attend the visitation with the family from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Monday, September 4, 2017 at Jeter Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, 311 N. Friendswood Dr., Friendswood, Texas 77546. A Rosary and prayer will begin at 7 PM.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at Mary Queen Catholic Church. 606 Cedarwood Dr., Friendswood, TX 77546 with Rev. Sibi Kunninu, M.S. officiating.
